Surface Electromyogram (EMG) The Insight Millennium Similar to an EKG for your heart, the surface Thermography scan detects areas of disturbance and inflammation in your spine, then documents and monitors the results, which helps our Doctors deliver the appropriate Chiropractic Care. Surface thermography scans do not utilize any needles, electrical shock or heat. The scan is painless and only takes a few minutes. The scan measures the amount of dysfunction and inflammation in your spine by measuring differences in temperature. Misalignments in your spine and muscle spasms disturb the function of the nerves causing pain, loss of function, numbness, tingling, etc.

The purpose for administering these scans during your initial examination and during re-examinations is to detect and pinpoint abnormal function in the spine, which cannot be seen on x-ray. Abnormal spinal function causes abnormal nervous system disturbance.

The top scan shows a patient's initial Surface EMG scan with severe nerve interference. The patient was experiencing multiple symptoms and associated health problems. The bottom scan is the same patient after a Maximum Wellness Corrective Care program. The patient has significantly less nerve interference, fewer symptoms and is experiencing improved health.
